Li Shan, also known is Pear Mountain is located in central Taiwan in Taichung County. The tea plantations of Li Shan range in altitude from 1,600 meters to 2,600 meters, making them some of the highest tea plantations in the world. As one of the most expensive tea in Taiwan, Li Shan is also known as the "King of Teas" thanks to its fruity fragrance that is not found in other Taiwanese oolongs.
